The MOUNTAIN HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL (MHHS)formerly PANGARAP HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX, is located between the boundaries of Mountain Heights Subdivision and Bankers Village II in Tala, Caloocan City. Specifically situated inside Mountain Heights Subdivision, it has a total land area of 1, 986 sq. m. The school has one building with nine rooms. Seven of these classrooms are used as instructional rooms while the rest were converted to administration and ancillary service offices.

Mountain Heights High School is accessible through public transportation by the following route:

  • From SM Fairview: Ride a jeepney with the label Tungko, SapangPalay, Malaria, Bigte, or Norzagaray. Alight at Pangarap Village, crossthe Quirino Hi-way  to  Mountain Heights Subd. Gate I and ride a tricycle to MHHS.

  • From Malaria: Ride a jeepney going to Pangarap, SM Fairview, Bayan or Cubao. Then, get down at Mountain HeightsSubd. Gate I. And, ride a tricycle to MHHS.

The MOUNTAIN HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL was established in 1997 by the virtue of the Memorandum of Agreement entered by the Department of Education Culture and Sports (DECS) reperesented byDr. NORMA M. ABRACIA and Pangarap High School Principal, Mrs. CLARITA M. MARTINEZ  and the Mountain Heights Subdivision Homeowners Association President Mrs. BARBARA R. LAYOG.  This agreement declared the school as an extension of Pangarap High School- Annex under the supervision of the principals from the Pangarap High School -Main.

In 2002,several improvements were made in the school under the supervision of Dr. Marissa B. Feliciano, assumed as the Officer –In –Charge of the school. One of these is the building of the perimeter fence. It was also in this period where physical improvement in the school turned to happen.

          The School became independent in and was separated from Pangarap High School through Barangay 183 Zone 16 District 1 Resolution No. 11 s. 2006, as a result of the initiatives of Mrs. Nimfa U. David.  Since then, the school is known as MOUNTAIN HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL.

Under the different leaderships, the school transformed from a simple high school annex to an emerging high school of the Division of Caloocan.
